SNS #29: Let’s Get Broad (LIVE)

I don’t think I can use magic to get this woman off the hood of my car because, well, I’m just not very good at magic.- Andrew Terrance Kaberline

LIVE from Cornerstone Studios, as part of the Uptown Arts Stroll, Andrew invites the audience to join in the fun as we go through two stories about how to broaden your horizons.

Live Appetizer
Live Appetizer

Appetizer:
Andrew welcomes the crowd with a recap of how he turned himself into an obnoxious ten year old film snob, by way of broadening his horizons through Turner Classic Movies, and being introduced to Hitchcock’s Vertigo.

First Course: A Driver’s Education
Andrew recounts his experience with driver’s education, his mysterious instructor Roger, and the horrifying first time driving with his license that no amount of practice could’ve prepared him for.
(Starts at 3:25)

Second Course: Do You Wanna Go Out, Or Whatever?
Matthew Schott returns to the show to explain one stand out experience of trying to be more proactive with the way he approaches the opposite sex. It’s a great disaster date type story, that promises to be very metal while taking place at the local Borders Bookstore.
(Starts at 11:00)

Toast:
Andrew encourages the live audience to lift their drinks, as they toast for their appreciation of seeking out new art. (Starts at 22:00)
